Michael Cera is Adorable

And he’s starring in the movie “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist”. If you like quirky books that change perspective from boy view to girl view each chapter, like stories where characters are up all night discovering things about themselves, like romance stories that begin with a guy asking a girl to be his girlfriend for 5 minutes just to make his ex-girlfriend jealous and then find out that they just might possibly be made for each other, then you’ll totally enjoy the book the movie is based on. Coincidently, it is also called Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist and is co-written by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. The book is slightly adult in places (swearing, sexual content) so be forewarned. The story rocks though, so check it out!

Saw the movie last night! Watch out for the Devendra Barnhart cameo. Is that even how you spell his name? 🙂 Really terrific music by bands I’d never heard of, except for Vampire Weekend, and Kat Jennings and Michael Cera are great together. You know, he might be adorable, but he’s got a little steel in him too.

A Devendra cameo? Our boy has come a long way from singing into an old phone machine! Hope success won’t ruin him.

So…. I finally read the book. Well actually I just skimmed through some of it but it was a fairly good book. I wished they had a bit more about music in it and I would have loved to read more of Nick’s lyrics.

How was the movie? Did on the Blog see it?
Oh and did they have the scene with his coat…when he gives it to Norah?
